CORE STRATEGY CONSULTATION:

David has completed a questionnaire on a personal level, but felt that views on behalf of the Residents Association should be put forward, so the Committee completed one at the meeting.

106 THORNEY MILL ROAD:

The opening of Kingfisher Gardens is set for 2nd April, and Alan O. ran through a list of those he suggested inviting, from SBDC and other parties involved.  Priority would be given to Thorney Mill Road residents and committee, though other residents would not be barred.  Graham has booked the Wycombe Brass Band, and the event will be mentioned in the Newsletter which incorporates the A.G.M. notice.

LIBRARIES FUTURE:

Working groups have been set up, with Maureen W. to represent Richings Park, as a link between Parish and residents.  BCC want the local financing and running to be run by volunteers.  We need to send out a questionnaire in early March to all residents via the Road Stewards, and to seek their e-mail addresses for future speed and collation of information.                                                A.O.

A.O.B.

Alan Oxley wishes to stand dowsn as Chairman after the A.G.M. and Daphne wishes to stand down as Secretary.   Replacements will be appointed officially after the A.G.M.

Wendy – mentioned again the appalling rail timetable and that it has shown up as one of the worst on the Website.

Alan B. – referred once again to the bad state of his road.  He also showed the Times magazine issued by BCC which gave the impression that the heron “stolen” from Thorney Park was given initially to Denham Country Park.

The meeting closed at 9.45 p.m.
