Community food parcels

26 May 2020: Many thanks to everyone who has donated food items for the ongoing scheme which continues to grow.  All your support shows that our community cares. For those who asked for ideas this week we need: 

  • tinned meat - there is enough fish at the moment

  • tinned veg - especially peas and carrots - there is enough sweetcorn

  • tinned fruit

  • large packets of cereals

  • juice boxes - packs of 3 are ideal

  • baked beans - especially the smaller size tins

  • teabags - in packs of 40

  • tissues

Donations can be left at Costcutters or the Co-op or at the Jubilee Pavilion on Iver Recreation Ground Monday 12 noon to 4pm, Wednesday 5 to 7pm or Friday 11am to 2pm.


18 May 2020: Donations are needed and the following are the things are most in need :

  • toilet rolls

  • tinned meat especially corned beef which is very popular with our older clients

  • tinned fish especially tuna 

  • baked beans

  • tea bags - boxes of 80

  • coffee in sachets or jars

  • small tubes of toothpaste

  • UHT milk

No more cat or dog food is needed! Donations can be left with Costcutter or brought to the Jubilee pavilion on Mon from 12 - 4pm, Wed 5 - 7 pm or Fri 11 am - 1 pm.
