6 March 2020: Update from Heathrow: "You may have seen in the media that there has been a judgment from the Court of Appeal on the Judicial Review against the Government’s policy on Heathrow Expansion. The Government won on all grounds, apart from one related to climate change. We have requested permission to appeal the judgment to the Supreme Court on the one issue flagged by the Court of Appeal. As you may expect, the outcome will certainly mean a change in pace to our Programme, our plans and our engagement, and we are working through the implications for our work in the year ahead. One decision we can confirm now is that our Targeted Consultation, which we announced earlier this year and was due to launch in April, will no longer be taking place as planned.
We want to assure you that we remain committed to working with the local community and will be in touch soon with further details on the next steps for the Iver & Richings Park Local Liaison Group."
26 January 2020: The first meeting of the new Heathrow-Iver Local Liason Group with their community engagement manager, Steven Beauchamp, will take place on Monday 20 January. The purpose is to foster an ongoing relationship between Heathrow and the communities that expansion may affect; and to keep people informed of current and future developments as well as providing a voice for residents. Heathrow will facilitate the meetings, but ultimately they will be chaired by a local resident. The first meeting will set the ground rules, but the Terms of Reference will be set in collaboration. Attendees will be from community, voluntary, sporting and faith groups in Richings Park, Iver and Iver Heath. We will keep you informed of progress.
