Pinewood Studios have very recently submitted to Buckinghamshire Council an Outline Planning Permission Application. The development will be 70,000 square metres and will impact our community in terms of the increased volume of traffic that it will bring to the area, both during construction (more HGVs) and, after it is complete and the properties are occupied. There will be more people wanting to access the station, which means more parking in Richings Park! There are no plans to improve local infrastructure and the plans for a station car park are on hold for the foreseeable future.
This is the opportunity to provide your views to Bucks Council and state our case for better roads, a reduction in HGVs, and a station car park with parking restrictions in Richings Park. We have just over two weeks to provide such feedback to the Buckinghamshire Council Planning Team (led by Ms Laura Peplow).
