LOCAL INFORMATION

The following information we hope will be a useful reminder to

established residents and an introduction to what’s here for

newcomers.

POST OFFICE

We all appreciate having a post office in the village - this is located

in Costcutter, Bathhurst Walk.  At one time it was under threat as

the level of custom was thought not to be sufficient. This has turned

around, but please use the service whenever possible so we keep

this valuable resource, particularly when returning items

(e.g. Amazon, etc) where you have a choice of a carrier that includes Royal Mail.  Using Royal Mail adds to the customer numbers for the Costcutter post office.
